BEAST 'Good Luck'!

As I promised, a post of BEAST who has come with a new album "Good Luck".

They come out with two version of album this time, black and white. Each with different photo concept, white is pure, black is dark. With a random lip card. Here's what it looks like (not mine, credit to sgkpoppers.wordpress):

::  About Good Luck  ::  the title song itself

I already explained some about their 'changes' in the other post (new logo and a pre-released M/V for the album "Good Luck") check it out if you haven't.

Yong Junhyung once again, is the producer of this song. If you haven't known him, he is the rapper of BEAST and has made so many good song, also was the producer of BEAST mini album, "How To Love, Hard To Love." He pulled out the trigger once again and I am in love. Even it is just a mini album consists of seven songs, he proves all of the skills he has. (and I realize I'm pulled to his charms, a bias list wrecker, he is)

Good Luck is a dance song with a broken-hearted man lyrics in it, as they are known for singing sad song as their title song (except "It's a Beautiful Night"). The song "Good Luck" brings me back to the "Shock" era where the songs sounds electronic, but this one is diverse with a kind of American feel yet still electronic in it. Can't explain it in more scientific way, but it's a totally new kind of song for BEAST.

What I am amazed is that this 'new kind of song' is made by Junhyung. He worked with the last album which title song is "Shadow" and rather than the American feel that I told you, it has more a vintage feeling in it, not modern like "Good Luck". It is a change, but it is good.

I am not going to lie, I have not yet tired to hear "Good Luck" in my ears. I just... haven't. If I compare to the other boy groups I like (not naming anyone, I think you could guess), I love this song better. Absolutely.

The music video takes a concept of a popular Chinese move, "2046", but since I don't watch it nor understands it, I think I should pass the M/V review. Though I really love how the camera works so well making the set looks modern. Or the set IS modern.




::  Other Songs  ::  I'm taking you to my "Good Luck" mini album trip.

So, the one that makes a big progress this time isn't only Junhyung, but also the member Gikwang. He made one of the songs called "History" (you must be thinking of Exo's "History", but the song is a lot different than that). This "History" contains the sexy voices of the members and I have to mention the lyrics. This is the chorus.
"Tonight is our history / I’ll slowly come closer, so baby take it slow / Dim the lights and raise the volume / Our secret time baby just relax your mind"
Addition. I die at Junhyung's rap everytime I hear the song.

Another song, "Tonight, I'll Be By Your Side (이 밤 너의 곁으로)" sounds easy listening, very opposite from the other songs in the mini album. It shows the beat of 90's songs.

"We Up", for me the only song that shows the party. No sadness in it, just the signs to people to enjoy the night. They used this song to accompany the title song, maybe to make the comeback stage livelier. They also brings back dancers to the stage, couple dancing with the female dancers.
Truthfully, I didn't really like it at first and I was hoping "Dance With You" to come on stage.


::  Favorites  ::

"I wanna dance with you."
It's a sad song, about wanting your ex to dance with you together, like back in the days. But it has the beat and energetic feels into it. Really not a glommy song and it is liven up my mood.
(+) Favorite, "Sad Movie"
It is a remake of the Japanese version and I love this 91274914 better. It's just that Korean seems familiar to me than the Japanese. (feel me). Sad Movie = Sad song, of course. I love the piano entrance and then Yoseob's voice starts to filling me. It's a great song.

p.s I know you heard a lot of Junhyung in this post, but Yoseob is still my number one bias (okay, that sounds cheeky and weird) and just wanna to tell that they won all of the music shows in 4th week of June and to surprise you guys, they got 10,000 points on Music Core and 11,000 points on Inkigayo which are PERFECT SCORE.
Congratulation to BEAST and what a hard work B2UTY.

BEAST new logo + new song "No More (이젠 아니야)"

I miss writing. I really have a lot of topics but I just can't arrange it to be 'readable' for you guys.

But, hey! I have one now. 

Guess who has a new song, new logo, and a new album coming up. 

BEAST. 비스트. The no longer B2ST. 

:: NEW LOGO ::

Cube is being a hardworking company nowadays with a new logo concept of BEAST that isn't oldskool and have a simple meanings. Do you know their history? Let me tell you. 

1. They appeared as a group called BEAST, with an infamous logo B2ST with 2 represents the E and A. But actually, it has meaning as the Boys of The East Standing Tall (????) (Question marks everywhere)

2. Even though before debut the comapny, Cube, changed its name to BEAST, the logo remains as B2ST. 

But now look at the modernized or.. simplified logo. It is made from their hangul name 비스트.. 

Erm do you understand? The 비 becomes only ㅂ with a sharp bottom like a capsized triangle in the logo, the 스 makes a triangle, and the 트 make a Σ symbol. 

:: NEW SONG ::

They are back with another love sickness themed song, they are really popular with a broken heart song, eh? Now, it's Not Anymore (이젠 아니야). A song about a couple who has broken up for months, but one of them is sucked at moving on.

"Why did you come to me again when I've already cooled down? I have no more warmth to share with you anymore."   "I'm not someone you can lean on anymore."

The wonderfulness you need to know:
The concept of the M/V. Cube is using Instagram Beastagram and let us see their love story through it. The actress is Lee Yubi if you haven't noticed and Junhyung played again as the main character. I think he still has all of the feels and make it as his song inspiration. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I just really like this concept, it's stick to the story of the song but expressing it with the modern technology. Applause to whoever the music video director is.

:: NEW ALBUM ::

Release soon on June the 16! (June is really my month /happy/) Of course with Junhyung as the producer.

P.s: I'm really sorry to Infinite for not writing about you guys! "Last Romeo" is actually really awesome too. They have risen from the song (Man In Love, Destiny) that I don't like. "Last Romeo" uses diverse instruments and you can hear all of it in your ears. Infinite is finally back to the "The Chaser" era that I love.
My favorite song from their album is "Shower (소나기)". It is definitely worth listening.

Beast 'Shadow (그림자)'

Once again, one of my favorite boyband come back from their hiding. Last year they brought us into the party world. And now it is changing 180 degrees to a melancholy upbeat song.

Just like 2 years ago, Fiction. This one is also a sad song. But what extinguish them is that now, the title song 'Shadow' has more dark and gothic vibe. Celebrating summer with a dark concepttt~

At least they tried something new. This album is produced by Junhyung (still with some help from Kim Taejoo), but I'm so happy to listen to the songs that Junhyung produced...
I also need to mention that Yoseob was helping all lyrics-writing process. (mainly chorus)

Who can not be proud? It is a rare opportunity to listen to the song they made. This is perfection.


Actually, I don't really like the song at first. You know what, I even forgot at the day (19th July) when they released the M/V. .....being a horrible fan.
The song is soooo dark. Not to my liking. But did anyone know how I got into VIXX? Beacuse of their talent of pulling those vampire dark concept. Plus their song isn't bad at all.
This happened to Beast. I was at shock. I knew that they were going to pull a dark concept, but I was not being prepared. Who knew they'd pull that strong and deep dark vibe?
First impression: Too strong. I couldn't imagine.
...... But now it happens again~ I am listening to it once again and listening to the songs on the album again.
Not bad for a first timer album producer like Junhyung.

The M/V is awesome guise! I love the dark and how it is fit to the song. Love the figure, who is kind of creepy. And the girl is creepy too, but she's pretty.
I love how the girl dancing at the back............ is she the same girl?

And what a great effect you use Cube Ent. I think it's your first time using that effect, isn't it? But I like it very much.
Especially when it's used at Junhyung's rap part at the back. I LOVE IT. Except his eyes.......... which turn all-white in just a second. That's horror. His part is my favorite!! The moving camera and the two-scenes (?) at his rap part... is a thumbs up.
But HAHAHA that dog.

What I dislike is their earrings. It is a definite NO. That is clearly not your style, don't put it on........

Hmm I love the eye shadows... (Shoot. It looks good on Hyunseung. Or maybe everyone.)

Dongwoon's part is a favorite. Need to see it live!

And this city scene. I love it. But it is only a CG, yeah right? I don't think it is real... the cities, the buildings. But the statue at the back is cool. Though it's so big and creepy.

A bonus. I just want you too see the cute Yoseob goes all muscular because of his hobby, boxing. Oh lol.

And I will be back with a review of the album! Really need to review that because it's Junhyung's work!!

Birthday, 130608!

Hula, it's my birthday and I'm gonna tell you that I had the best birthday present ever.
Not in a particular order.
#1. I got a running man jacket from my friend. :)
#2. Beast won Music Core. THIS IS HUGE.

Like the most unexpected thing. Who thought the song '괜찮겠니' (a.k.a Will You Be Alright?), the song that they don't promote, won? W.O.N?
I know it's just a k-pop thing again, people who hate k-pop will totally bored with me fangirling....
But it is really a great present for me.

I personally don't really like the song. Though I've been repeating the song in my head for like all day. (I just need time to let it grow in me)
I know it is really a 'Beast' style of song. Kinda sound like an old song. The style that Beast's done the most. That probably why I am so surprised. How could they won first?
The power of B2UTYs are jjang.
Just for you information, they also won #1 on Billboard Korea. YEAHHA.

Beast will be back in July. But they are gonna hold a showcase for their comeback in June 20th. Everyone can join, I think. But only koreans, of course ;(

Music Bank in Jakarta

You know what? I finally watched Music Bank in Jakarta (March 9th)!

After all my nagging and stuffs, I watched it. Freaking watched it. 

And I was like YAY. Got the tickets cheaper than the original price, and my father payed for it...

Though I watched it from far away, it was really awesome. 

The presence of my duo BEAST and Infinite. And yea, I got my eyes on Teen Top too. (*-*) 

Teen Top, Sistar, Eru, SHINee, and Suju.... I enjoy your stage....

Love Teen Top, Sistar's Hyorin and Eru when they were singing in Indonesian. 

Who thought Teen Top would be switching song with S4?!

Infinite right in front of my eyes. They were singing The Chaser! 

Oh my gosh, Infinite was dazzling. It's like their first time for them here. It must be awesome, right, boys? 

Thought I would be watching fancams, and hoping Inspirits Indonesia make a great support and effort to bring you back here. But I was there cheering for you guys too. MY FEELINGS. People say they will be back this year for a tour, I hope so.

And of course, BEAST. I was hoping to see more Yoseob. Can not get enough of him, really. I jumped and had fun so much in the concert...and forgot to stare at Yoseob, like seeing his cuteness. But his voice was enough! I hope Cube will make a tour for them once again, and put Indonesia on the list too. I'm still regretting WHY DIDN'T I WATCH BEAUTIFUL SHOW.

2PM!

They were giving us plenty fanservices! Love. 

2PM was gorgeous. HANDSOME BOY. KKOTMINAM. I love their fanservices. I can be their fan if I want to. Bloody handsome! Plus they were really energetic and their songs are also awesome. It's the songs that I can sing along with <Hands Up, Heartbeat, 10 points out of 10> and I was hoping more of them... They really liven up the stage. 

Super Junior on the stage! Looking good eh.

I don't want to post the details of the concert..... Fanbases have already posted them so much, like on twitter. Check it out yourselves. I just can not wait for it to be aired in KBS. March 19th!

Okay. My favorite boyband of all, you know, Beast and Infinite, is gonna have a solo project album. 

The main vocals of the groups.....ALSO my freaking favorite member from the two. 

Well, Kim Sunggyu (from Infinite) has already released his debut M/V about 3 days ago. The song is awesome, it's my kind of song. I really love the chorus, Kim Sunggyu's powerful vocals. Well I'm not really satisfied with the M/V since there's not much of Kim Sunggyu. Too much of L? But okay... he's also cute. Who doesn't admit that L is handsome btw?

It's like a rocker concept, and the photos go minimalist? Erm.. futuristic? His red hair is awesome. :)

2 days later after Kyu released 'Another Me', there comes Yang Yoseob. There's a sudden news from @Joker891219....... the TRACKLIST. And it's Yoseob who's gonna sing. SOLO. ERGH. I'm hoping it's gonna be a great song, since it's main vocal Yang Yoseob plus producer Yong Junhyung. 

The concept looks much classy? It's like in some kind of circus..but what's up with the cup....in a circus?! Well the title track is goin to be 'Caffeine'.. HMM IT'S GOING TO BE GOOD OKAY. Don't disappoint me. I've already put so much expectation. 

Seen the photos already? Got the different feelings right? Need to take care of my feelings wisely...

Party People: Midnight Sun

I love Beast's new mini album. Midnight Sun! I thought all of the song will have a 'dark' feeling, but when i saw the title track teaser "아름다운 밤이야 (It's a Beautiful Night)", man it's so different. 
Party concept and some dark concept pictures too. I'm satisfied, Cube. :'))

"Even with pressures of the long break, the reason why the album was delayed because of 'change'"

They was afraid bcos of the 'change', they thought b2utys are gonna hate the songs bcos yea, it's totally different. I know their old songs from Bad Girl era until Fiction. But this one, is awesome. 
They were gonna release a new album on May, but then the album was delayed, bcos they think it's the time to change. :'))))

When we asked Yong Junhyung to express this album in one word, Yong Junhyung said, "war." He added, "Making this album we had the hardest time as if we were in a war. People around us had the deepest concerns about us making changes. However, we believe that we want to show off our music confidently on stage, so we have no regrets."  (tr: b2strising)

My most favorite song is Dream Girl, then 내가 아니야 (It's Not Me)... honestly, i love all the songs. 
Dream Girl is a ballad, but not a hyper-ballad. Easy listening, and sweet. The lyrics are made by Junhyung, the powerful rapper and composer. The violet one. I love the emotions and their voiceees C: I fall in love.

@itzmeys Ah. Whew.. How is it? Good? Thank youㅜㅜ keke We worked hard preparing it so show a lot of love okie? I love you too!! (High notes in Dream Girl is me..Hurry compliment meㄱㄱ)

And 니가 쉬는 날 (The Day You Rest)  is also composed by Junhyung. The lyrics too! the beat is sooo junhyung :3 it kinda weird on the first time you hear it, but the second time, like!! Bcos of the funky beat and cute lyrics haha. 

They have a sad song too, like 니가 보고 싶어지면 (When I Miss You). Full of emotions!
and for 내가 아니야 (Not Me), the song intro sounds like chinese/korean traditional, and then they add some beat banggg the lyrics are cute.

it's the first verse, ahaha. I love it :3 this song talks about boy-girl misunderstanding. "It's not me, trust me baby."

and 아름다운 밤이야 (It's a Beautiful Night) the title track. Party people! lol. I love the mv, and WHAT A WONDERFUL SONG. It's composed by someone who i don't know. Its name is 'Goodnight, sleep well'. Really. 

S. Tiger (main composer of Cube) suggest to listen in the order of  'When I Miss You'-'Midnight'    'Not Me'-'It'a Beautiful Night'    'Dream Girl'-'The Day You Rest'. ENJOY THEN!

Coming Soon

It's already announced. Beast comeback on 22nd of July and they're gonna reveal the 5th mini album's first single in 15th, called "Midnight". I don't know if it's the title track or not.

"Midnight" will be released a week prior to the mini-album, and is a post-breakup track with lyrics that speaks of the pain and loneliness one feels throughout the night. 

"This song is filled with BEAST's colour, in a theme that starts with clear piano and guitar sounds BEAST's heart-wrenching lyrics are well-incorporated" they explained. 

Pain and loneliness? Whoa, this reminds me of Fiction era. plus I think it's really not the title track. Just like "On Rainy Days", Cube always release a track before the actual album comes out.
I think the title track will sound more rebellious? cos when i see the M/V filming pictures, it does sound more rebellious.

I'm just too excited for their comeback haha.
and i found a great song from B.A.P! (yes sir! haha). Whatta great lyrics. Some of you maybe don't like the song, but i like it. This song reminds me of FTSK or Pee Wee Gaskins!

New evol

Kinda confused. What should I do with my template and things. Should i use blogskin? But i'm afraid i'll post here often bcos if i use blogskin. It'll make the blog kinda like tumblr. So no blogskin, but i think i must make my own blog design. But i don't know what to dooo. So I'm using Yoseob's fiction and fact picture. Thanks to cube hahaha.

And I'm so excited for Beast comeback. It's mid-July, without any clear information about the date, but thanks Cube, finally. Miss them so much. It's been one year, like really? They are coming back. Ohhhh~
They was in US, filming the M/V for three days. And fans saw a different 'hair' concept in the airport. Blue eh...it's Violet one for Junhyung. Orange for Yoseob. And Red for Hyunseung.

Gue ga jadi nonton Beast. Kecewa atau nggak? Gue gatau.

Gue yang dari kemaren-kemaren wanti-wanti tiket biar sampe di tangan gue, sampe sekarang gue belom dapet. Rencananya mau beli on the spot, tapi akhirnya gue merenung dan merenung. Duit gue yang 800k itu gue simpen dulu deh. Gue gak berencana buat ngebeli apa-apa kok, tapi mungkin sayang kali ya, 500k buat nonton Beast. Plus bayarin kakakku tercinta itu..

Dan Beast-nya pun tampaknya gak terlalu bahagia ke sini. I don't know, kesian aja mereka yang hari ini (atau kemaren) baru nyampe ke sini, hari ini langsung ada hi-5 session, press conference, trus concert. Besoknya, katanya nih mereka udah pergi lagi ke Jepang. Sedih gak sih. 

Ya, meskipun gue gak nonton, mereka gak mungkin kan ngebatalin show gara-gara gue. Pasti tetep jalan terus kan. Sukses aja ya mas broh konsernya :) :) 

Dan entah kenapa gue ga merasa bener-bener kecewa (Sekarang sih belom, gatau deh kalo konsernya lagi jalan), mungkin karena duit gue ga jadi abis. 

Gue tunggu BIGBANG atau Infinite dateng ke sini kali ya. Karena gue ga yakin Beast dateng lagi ke sini (rumornya sih ada MuBank di Indo sekitar bulan Mei, tentunya ada Beast), tapi kalo bukan full concert kurang seru, ya...
